The Village of Hanover Park has immediate seasonal openings for full-time laborers to work 40 hours per week, hours vary based on position, Monday-Friday, in the Public Works Departments from April through September or July through December performing various manual tasks in the maintenance of Village property and/or the repair of roads and drainage structures, and other related work. Requires an ability to understand and follow instructions and the ability to perform strenuous work in varying weather conditions. Requirements:Applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver’s license and steel-toe safety shoes. Appointment contingent upon prospective employee passing an employer-paid drug screen. Compensation:Starting salary is $10.00 per hour. Wage increases are based upon performance and ability to meet established goals and objectives. Seasonal employees are not eligible for any benefits other than those required by law.
