2023 Corporate Partnership Program
The Corporate Partnership Program is an annual program that provides local businesses and those businesses who work with the Village of Hanover Park an opportunity for community involvement. Please review the programs and events that the Village offers and consider becoming a Hanover Park Corporate Partner. If you would like to make a donation for any of these events or programs, your generosity would be greatly appreciated. You can make a difference for the entire Hanover Park community ADDITIONAL INFORMATION For additional information about this program, please download our Corporate Partnership Brochure which includes the donation form. Spooktacular House Decorating Contest & Tour
The Village of Hanover Park and Hanover Park Park District are looking for the best Halloween Decorated Homes in Hanover Park. By participating in the contest, your home will be placed on our Halloween Tour Map to lure unsuspecting visitors to your home to be scared!

Fire Dept Open House- October 14
Each year, the Fire Department hosts an Open House which allows residents an opportunity to see a demonstration of various equipment in the Fire Department, as well as receive information on fire prevention. Event attendees are welcome to participate in many of the open house activities and educational demonstrations, all focused on fire prevention and safety techniques. Activities include a tour of Hanover Park Fire Station where attendees could see how the fire station operates, special search and rescue dogs, fire safety activities, crafts, and even the opportunity to dress like a firefighter for the day. Hanover Park River Sweep- October 14
Help keep our rivers clean by joining your fellow community-members in this annual record-setting clean-up event! Each year, hundreds of volunteers work together to remove thousands of pounds of debris from 50+ miles of shoreline in DuPage County.

CIDC Leader's Reception- October 17
This event is hosted by the Cultural Inclusion and Diversity Committee. This year, the event will be presenting on a topic that is relevant to their demographics and policy series again. The topic of discussion is to be determined

Veterans Day Observance- November 11
The Village of Hanover Park’s Veterans Committee invites all residents to attend our Veterans Day Observance to honor and recognize Hanover Park veterans. The Committee will be collecting items for our troops that will be sent to them through Operation Airlift. A list of needed items can be found on the Village’s website www.hpil.org under Government Committees and Commissions, Veterans Committee. More information will be provided at a later date.

Mayor Craig's 2023 MOVE WITH THE MAYOR Initiative
Join Hanover Park Mayor Rodney Craig's Move with the Mayor initiative to reduce heart disease and stroke by encouraging Hanover Park residents to "get up and get movin!" Hanover Park is challenging the communities of West Chicago, Glen Ellyn, and Bartlett to a step contest. Sign up for the Hanover Park Challenge Team and start walking or running. Hanover Park is challenging over 70 other communities to who is the most physically active. It is a lot of fun and it will challenge you to get more active in your lifestyle while representing your hometown, Hanover Park.

2023 Fall Fit City Challenge
The SparkAmerica Fit City Challenge is designed to help individuals and companies become Fit & Healthy Leaders, while working together to build friendly competition. This multi-city challenge encourages participants to get and stay healthy by tracking daily fitness activity minutes in a fun and free Fitness Game.

Doggie Eggstravaganza- April 1st
To register, visit: www.hpil.org/eggstravaganza (begins March 6) Hop on down to Ontarioville Park for a tail-wagging, good old fashioned egg hunt filled with dog treats and some special golden tickets! When your dog’s nose touches the egg, it is all theirs. LOTS of eggs to sniff out. Bring your cameras, because our special guest, the Easter Bunny, will be on hand for pictures. Pet costumes always welcome! Pet-friendly vendors will be on hand to visit with as well. The cost is $5 per dog. The first 50 furry friends receive a goodie bag!

Market at the Metra- May 13
This annual event is free and open to the public from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Hanover Park residents and neighbors will gather to sell their old treasures, handmade crafts, and new merchandise. In previous years the vendors have included crafters of handmade jewelry, soaps, stationary, but also new and used items. It has been a great alternative to having a garage sale for families wanting to give a new home to their used toys, clothes, and miscellaneous household items. The antique and vintage item vendors also offer a variety of collectibles, costume jewelry and old barn finds. Many vendors also sell new goods such as household supplies, school supplies, socks, ties, toys. Sellers of approved pre-packaged foods are also permitted. Interested vendors are to contact the Clerk’s Office for information on registration and fees at 630-823-5602 or tclark@hpil.org. More information to follow as we finalize the details for the event.

MLK Build-Up Day- May 20
The Cultural Inclusion and Diversity Committee continues MLK's legacy of volunteerism by working with fellow citizens to clean up, build up and improve Hanover Park. More information to come.

Memorial Day Observance- May 29
The Hanover Park Veterans Committee hosts and invites you to attend the Memorial Day Observance Ceremony in honor of our Veterans. This year it is being held on Monday, May 29th, at 10:00 am in the Veterans Memorial Plaza in front of the Municipal Building, 2121 Lake Street, Hanover Park, IL. Please join us at this ceremony to remember those who have died while serving for our country.

Community Apiary Open House- June 3
Come see the beehives, learn why honey bees are important, and see how you can get started keeping honey bees right here in Hanover Park. Beekeepers will be on hand to answer questions about this fun and increasingly vital hobby. Should you have any questions, call 630-823-5706.

Touch A Truck- June 10
Each year, the Village of Hanover Park sponsors a Touch A Truck event. The Police Department, Fire Department and Public Works Department shine up their vehicles and apparatus so attendees can touch the hoods and sit inside of the cars and trucks that make our community run! This is a FREE event.

Mayor Craig's Play Ball Baseball Game- July 11
Mayor Craig will host a youth baseball game as part of the U.S. Conference of Mayors "Play Ball" summer" initiative which focuses on the fun nature of baseball and encourages an active and healthy lifestyle for kids. Join us to watch the Hanover Park Little League Player participate in the Play Ball Summer game with team coaches from the Hanover Park Fire Department and Hanover Park Police Department. Free Hot Dogs, chips and refreshments! Tuesday, July 11th at 6:00 pm Hanover Park Sports Complex 1300 Sycamore, Hanover Park.

COPS Day & Movie in the Park: The Bad Guys- July 21
COPS Day starts at 5:30 pm followed by the movie that starts at dusk with games and activities beginning at 8 p.m. before the start of the movie. Refreshments for sale. More information to come

Hanover Park Car & Motorcycle Show- August 6
The Village of Hanover Park will hold its annual Hanover Park Car & Motorcycle Show at the Hanover Park Metra Station located at the Hanover Park Metra Station at 1975 W. Lake Street. Entry registration information coming soon!

Be sure to bring your family & friends, along with lawn chairs and blankets for our movie in the park series. Games and activities start at 8:00 pm with the movie kicking off at dusk. Snacks and refreshments for sale.

Corks & Crafts- August 19
The 2023 Corks & Crafts festival will feature a wide variety of wine and craft beer sampling, arts & crafts along with great music and delicious food. Our Paint and Sip tent will return so grab a drink and settle down to paint a festive fall picture in a friendly setting. We hope you can make it! Stay tuned as we finalize our plans for this popular event.

The Village of Hanover Park is pleased to announce that it will be holding 3 summer concerts this year at the new Pavilion at the Hanover Park Sports Complex. Bring your lawns chairs and your favorite refreshments to sit back and relax to enjoy great music.

Trabuco- June 14
Tribuco's music is a "feel good salsa for the soul." Composed of the best musicians in the windy city Chicago, Trabuco carries the fundamentals of afrocarribean beats, Salsa, Chacha, Bolero, Guaguanco just to name a few. The band has provided backups for many of the past and present Salsa artists. Everyone enjoys themselves when this band performs.
