Hanover Park Trustee Fanny Y. Lopez Benitez Resigns

Hanover Park, IL–  At the Village Board meeting on Thursday, May 21, 2020, Hanover Park Village Trustee Fanny Y. Lopez Benitez announced that effective May 31, 2020, she will resign from her position as Village Trustee, citing personal reasons. 
 
Trustee Lopez Benitez was elected as Village Trustee in 2019.  In the time she has served on the Village Board, Trustee Lopez Benitez was the board liaison on the Historic Committee. 
 
Village President Craig will work to appoint a new Trustee with the consent of the Board and hopes to fill the position as quickly as possible.
