The Village is here to help our small businesses, especially during these extraordinary times. The Hanover Park 2020 Small Business Assistance Program helped with free logo-branded sandwich board signs and banners provided by ER2 Image Group, a Hanover Park based graphics company. The signs alerted customers that businesses are open.
An online presence is essential. Through Village marketing grants, Northwest Hispanic Chamber of Commerce member Mi Gente helped businesses claim their Google listing, and create/optimize Yellow Page and Yelp profiles, which have become so important for businesses working to increase online commerce through effective digital marketing. These businesses have launched brand new websites:
A total of 78 businesses have used the new sandwich board signs branded with the Village logo, and 75 banners have hung banners to indicate they are open for business. Please be sure to support ALL our Hanover Park businesses!
A complete listing of all Hanover Park businesses can be found on the Village website at www.hpil.org

The rules have changed dramatically since last year, with newly eligible expenses and a reduction in paperwork for the smallest borrowers. This round will be processed through participating financial institutions through March 31, 2021, authorized up to $284 billion, and is open to both First Draw PPP Loans (who did not receive a PPP loan before Aug. 2020) and a Second Draw PPP Loan. Changes to the program are here. The SBA and the Treasury Department have prepared these instructions to help businesses calculate the maximum amount for their first draw PPP Loans, and explain what documentation to provide.
