April 14, 2021 Town Hall meeting - workNet DuPage - Available Workforce Development Services and Funding for Businesses


On Wednesday, April 14, 9 a.m. the Village of Hanover Park will host an informational webinar about available workforce development services and funding for businesses through DuPage County Business Services at workNet DuPage – the county’s official workforce center funded by the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).

You will learn about the following programs designed for businesses:
 
INCUMBENT WORKER TRAINING

  • DuPage County Business Services can reimburse up to $25,000 of training costs to boost the skill sets of your workers. These training services help companies remain competitive by updating or enhancing the skills and capabilities of their current workforce.
ON-THE-JOB TRAINING
  • For eligible new hires, DuPage County Business Services can reimburse up to 75% of wages for up to the first 6 months of on-the-job training.

ADDITIONAL RESOURCES FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES 

Join us on April 14th at 9:00 AM.  Program will be virtual, via zoom and run an hour.

May 12, 2021 Town Hall meeting - ComEd - Solar Power and Energy Efficiency Programs

Hanover Park continues to be a leader in Solar Energy.  Since our designation of "Solsmart Gold" in 2018 over 168 homes have installed solar energy systems.  Join us for a Town Hall meeting with Com Ed and their energy partners to learn how solar might benefit you at your business facility.   Additionally, ComEd will discuss other energy programs available to help you manage your energy costs. 

Join us on May 12th at 8:30 AM.   Program will run about 45 minutes with Q&A to follow.
