Hanover Park Police Investigating Homicide

Hanover Park, Illinois- On August 2, 2021, at approximately 7:45 p.m., officers responded to the 5500 block of Pebblebeach Drive for a report of shots fired inside a residence. Upon arrival, police located a 50-year-old female and a 59-year-old male, both suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims were transported to the hospital where the male subject succumbed to his injuries. The female was treated and released. The investigation remains ongoing with the assistance of the DuPage Metropolitan Emergency Response & Investigation Team (MERIT). At this time, the matter appears to be an isolated incident.
