Want to appeal your property assessment?

The Hanover Park Economic Development Committee (EDC) will host a town hall meeting with the Cook County Assessor's Office to discuss the assessment appeal process. Property owners should have recently received letters with their 2021 assessments (for the prior year).

If you believe your property was overvalued, you have the right to appeal
within 30 days of the date of the letter. Join the EDC for a discussion on how to appeal your assessment - and how to provide information that in the future, will help achieve more accurate assessments.

Meeting will be held in Room 214 in Village Hall located at 2121 Lake Street.

Effective July 1, 2022, the minimum wage in Cook County increased to $13.35/hour for non-tipped workers, and $7.40/hour for tipped workers. Visit www.cookcountyil.gov/mwo for complete details.
