2023 Resurfacing Project
The removal of concrete sidewalks and curb and gutter has been completed on all streets in the project. The installation of the new concrete is expected to be complete by the end of September. Pavement milling has started in preparation for placing the new asphalt surface pavement on Olivia Ln, Catawba Ln, Cynthia Ln, Kingsbury Dr, Brockton Ct, Carrolton Ct, Durham Ct, Essex Ct and Berkshire Dr. Restoration will be performed after the pavement installation is completed. For a location map, please visit our website. As a part of this project, 41 street sections are being improved (approximately 7.16 miles). The work includes various spot drainage improvements (e.g., curb and gutter replacement), spot sidewalk removal and replacement to meet the current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, pavement patching, removal and replacement of the existing asphalt surface, pavement markings, and necessary restoration. The public will have access to the streets during construction; however, minor delays may occur.
