Storm Damage Assessment Survey

On Saturday, July 4th, the Village of Hanover Park experienced unprecedented rainfall, with totals exceeding 4 inches within an hour, resulting in flooding that impacted residential homes throughout our Village. In response, the Village is collecting data from residents to better understand the extent of this flooding.

This survey will be used to advocate on behalf of Village residents to County, State, and Federal agencies, should disaster assistance funding become available. The data collected will also help identify the areas most affected by flooding and assist with future drainage improvement planning. Please note that completion of this survey does not imply Village responsibility or liability, nor does it guarantee financial assistance. This survey is solely intended to gather information for planning purposes.

The Village of Hanover Park thanks you for your time in providing this information, so we may better understand the impact of this event on our community.

2026 Pavement Striping Update: The Village’s contractor began removing and replacing various pavement markings throughout the Village. This is a mobile operation, but it may cause minor delays while work is performed.
