Hanover Park Ranked #30 on the Safest Cities in America – 2019 List

Hanover Park, IL- The Village of Hanover Park is proud to announce that the village has again been named as one of Neighborhood Scout’s Safest Cities in America. This marks the eighth consecutive year that Hanover Park has been named to the list. The Village of Hanover Park achieved a ranking of #30 on the 2019 Neighborhood Scout’s Safest Cities in America list, which is the highest ranking the village has ever earned.
To compile the list, Neighborhood Scout conducts research into the crime rates of cities in America with 25,000 or more residents. The crimes researched include burglary, larceny/theft, motor vehicle theft, murder, criminal sexual assault, armed robbery, and aggravated assault. Each year, law enforcement agencies are required to report this data to the FBI, who is responsible for compiling crime data throughout the United States. The the Top 100 List here.
