Hanover Park, IL- Mayor Rodney Craig’s Kids at Hope Coalition will be sponsoring their annual Community Resource Fair on Saturday April 6th. This year, the Hanover Park Fire Department will bring their Health Fair to create one big FREE event! The Community Health & Resource Fair will be held at the Hanover Park Park District gymnasium located at 1919 Walnut Avenue in Hanover Park from 10:00a.m. until 1:00p.m. The belief of the Kids at Hope Coalition is that all children are capable of success, no exceptions!
The Health & Resource Fair is designed to provide information and resources to youth and families in the Village of Hanover Park. Agencies and organizations dedicated to providing safe, fun activities for youth in our community will be exhibiting at the Health & Resource Fair. There will be free giveaways, health screenings, games and activities for children, and demonstrations by various clubs and organizations.
There will be performances by the District 54 Jazz Band, the U-46 Mariachi, and Faubourg Theatre. Kids will have the opportunity to meet-and-greet Sparky the Fire Prevention Dog and McGruff the Crime Dog. In the Park District parking lot, the Lion’s Club will offer free hearing and vision tests, the Police and Fire Departments will do child safety seat installations and inspections, and there will be an emergency vehicle display. Prizes will be raffled off – the grand prize is a family fitness pass to Centre Court Athletic Club and one free week of summer camp! Raffle tickets can be earned by bringing donations for the food pantry. This will be a fun and informative event for all!
