Road Closures Announced for St. Ansgar Church Street Procession

Hanover Park, IL- On Friday, April 19, 2019, St. Ansgar Church will be conducting a street procession.  The procession will begin at 12:00 p.m. from St. Ansgar Church, located at 2040 Laurel Avenue (see attachment for procession route).  Due to the street procession the following roadways will be closed from 12:00 p.m. until approximately 3:00 p.m.

• Laurel Avenue between Center Avenue and Church Street
• Church Street between Laurel Avenue and Maple Avenue

There will be no parking allowed on the streets listed above between 11:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Any vehicles parked on the above listed streets between these times will be relocated. 
Police personnel will be assigned to intersections along the procession route to assist with traffic control in the area. The closed roadways will be opened as quickly as possible upon conclusion of the procession in order to minimize the impact on residents.
