Hanover Park Touch A Truck

Village Clerk Eira L. Corral Sepúlveda invites you to the Annual Hanover Park Touch-A-Truck Event at the Hanover Park Train Station Commuter Lot on Saturday, June 1, 2019. The event will be free of admission and will open to the public from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.  A “quiet hour” will be held from 9:00 am -10:00 am for families with sound sensitivities to have an opportunity to enjoy the event.

Residents and neighbors are welcomed with their families. This year the event will feature a sandlot area for children to play and special photo areas for family pics and selfies.  “This is a great event to get behind the wheel and meet the hometown heroes that drive the cars and trucks that make our town run,” said Village Clerk Eira Corral. Hanover Park Public Works vehicles will be highlighter, as well as, vehicles from the Hanover Park Fire and Police Departments. Neighboring communities and industrial businesses will also have their vehicles showcased.

The Veteran’s Committee will also hold a collection for Operation Airlift. Items being collected include: Shaving Cream, disposable razors, pens, pencils and paper, toilet paper, foot powder, pocket tissues, AA & AAA batteries, and Ziplock bags.
