HANOVER PARK TO HOST PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING FOR U.S. ROUTE 20 INTERCHANGE IMPROVEMENT STUDY

Hanover Park, IL- The Village of Hanover Park, in coordination with the Illinois Tollway, will host a public information meeting on Tuesday, August 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hanover Park Village Hall, 2121 W. Lake Street.

The public information meeting is regarding the preliminary engineering study for improvements to the U.S. Route 20 (Lake Street) Interchange at Illinois Route 390 Tollway. The purpose of the meeting is to share information with the public including the study schedule, planning process, existing conditions and to seek input on the local transportation issues and needs.

The Village of Hanover Park, in coordination with the Tollway, seeks to improve the flow of traffic accessing the U.S. Route 20 Interchange. This study will determine if extending the interchange ramps to County Farm Road can address local traffic issues and is scheduled to be complete in 2020.

The public information meeting will be conducted in an open house format with a video presentation and exhibits showing the existing conditions of the project. The study team will be available to provide information and answer questions regarding the study.
Comments from the public regarding the study can be submitted at the public information meeting or emailed to info@getipass.com.
