Thinking of opening your own business? Not sure where to start? The Village of Hanover Park has collaborated with the Women’s Business Development Center (WBDC) to help. With the pandemic, WBDC satellite office hours at the Village of Hanover Park, at Village Hall are temporarily suspended, but you can set a meeting with Aisha McBurrows, at no cost, to discuss start-up and business expansion. She can help with Business Plans, sales projections, marketing, access to capital, expansion plans, structuring requests for financing, and more. Economic Development Committee Meeting

The Economic Development Committee works to create an environment to attract and retain quality commercial and industrial business to the Village in order to encourage economic development, increase local sales and real estate revenues, create new employment opportunities, diversify the local economy, enhance the community's image, all of which will benefit Village residents. Members provide valuable assistance in growth of economic development through creative strategies and feedback on business-related regulations. Our focus is to encourage business growth and economic development. Local businesses are welcome to attend EDC meetings to learn about ongoing Village activities. Meeting are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 12:30 p.m. in Room 214 of the Municipal Building.
