The Hanover Park Environmental Committee will be hosting their 11th annual Recycling Event: Hanover Park Recycles!. Recyclable Items Cell phones and ink-jet cartridges / Eyeglasses, hearing aids, and keys / CFL and fluorescent bulbs / Household batteries/ Large lead-acid batteries (automobile, sump pump, SLA, and marine batteries only) / Motor oil and antifreeze / Clean, usable child and adult clothing / Fire extinguishers and scrap metal / Working bikes, books, records, musical instruments, Brita & Pur filter/ Personal documents for shredding (service is free; No businesses. No hard covers, binders, binder clips, or books. Staples and paperclips OK) Unacceptable Items No electronics accepted / Paint / Large appliances (such as refrigerators and ovens) / Oil filters / Needles / Prescription drugs can be dropped off in the PD Lobby/ Water heaters / Air conditioners / Garbage disposals

Veterans Committee Meeting

The Veterans Committee was formed to promote the values of those who have served their county in the military, to coordinate activities that bring merit to residents who have served their country, and to cooperate with local VFW and other groups who represent the interests of the veterans.
