OBJECTIVE:  Provide residents with safe and continuous non-vehicular access to Metra and Pace Buses.  Eliminate existing gaps in the current multi-use path network. 

DESCRIPTION: The project consists of the installation of a new multi-use path between existing bicycle paths.  It will provide a continuous path to the Metra Station. 

8/14/26 UPDATE:  This week, the contractor relocated one of the traffic signal posts on Church. They also finished preparing for landscape. This project will include daily lane closures along Lake Street from Church Street/Metra Station to Turnberry Drive.
